My matchbox cover is made of heavy 20-gauge Stainless Steel, with a laser etched design. Great for keeping small secret treasures safe!
If you want to use these as matchbox covers I engineered these to fit a standard 32 count box of matches, so that you can buy replacement matches at any grocery store or convenience store. I use diamond strike anywhere matches and they work great!
How to fill the matches: Remove the wood box then just slide the entire cardboard box (including the sleeve with the strike area) into the metal cover. Done and ready to go!

ABOUT THE DESIGN
The Viking Compass is known as the vegvisir, which means signpost or wayfinder. It is an old icelandic sigil for protection and finding your way through rough weather. In the Huld Manuscript where this symbol is described, it says "If this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known."
