Tree of Life Shaving Soap Gift Set
Tree of Life Shaving Soap - Collaboration with Paintbox Soapworks
Oakmoss, ferns, cypress, sage, patchouli, & a drop of honey
The Tree of Life is a symbol of interconnection, wisdom, and hope. The concept figures in many different religions, mythologies, and philosophies. The Tree of Life is also referred to as the World Tree, the Sacred Tree, the Cosmic Tree, and by specific names such as Yggdrasil (Norse) and Etz Chaim (Hebrew). If you have deep roots and a good canopy, you can weather the storms of life and be true to yourself. You can live your best life by just being you.
Our Tree of Life blend is an earthy, abundant blend of warm, verdant moss, lush ferns, and pinpoints of honeyed sunlight dancing through the great leafy canopy towering overhead. Roots of cypress & patchouli dig deep, & all the world is green...

This listing is for a generous 4-ounce round of my luxurious glycerin soap, fortified with ultrafine bentonite clay for a smooth, comfortable shave. I use a hefty, round mold that sits handsomely in a shaving bowl, or you can lather up with your hands. The end result? Huge, stable lather, great slip & delicious scents to get you soft, smooth & ready for action. I hand cast in small batches with no SLS, propylene glycol, parabens, animal products or other funny stuff! Most of my fragrances are phthalate-free, too. My bars produce gorgeous, abundant lather & have unique scents that cling gently to your skin. You'll be left feeling clean & smelling fantastic.
I hand-wrap each bar in cellophane, with all ingredients clearly labeled for your peace of mind:
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifer), Oat Protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil, Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Mica
Since I work in small batches, you may notice slight variations in color from bar to bar. New to a good old fashioned wet shave? The guys at The Art of Manliness won't steer you wrong: http://artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
