About celtic knots and my dragon design-

Celtic knotwork patterns have been used for centuries as symbols of connection, protection, and good luck. And, let’s be honest, because they look awesome.

This design was requested by someone very close to me, so I really wanted it to come out perfectly. I spent a lot of time thinking about the aspects of dragons and what makes a dragon a dragon. Well, all this pondering and sketching actually summoned a dragon in real life! A Gila monster, to be precise. I had stepped outside for some fresh air and I ran into this beautiful, giant, black and orange lizard. This is especially strange because I live too far north for Gila monsters, yet there he was. He was beautiful, bold, moved at his own pace, and was just a bit intimidating. And just like that, I had my inspiration for my dragon, full of magic and power.

All CelticKnotWorks pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA. This is my original design, designed from scratch by me. I make these pendants in partnership with my family business, Deva Designs.
