The Sun is a symbol of energy and vitality. For the ancient Celts and even earlier, the movement of the Sun was celebrated through the seasons of the year. Amazing monuments — including Newgrange and other sites — were created thousands of years ago to mark the passage of time through observation of the light of the Sun and its path through the sky.
All CelticKnotWorks pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA. This is the original design of my wife and partner, Suzie, part of her collection The Sacred Grove. We make these pendants in partnership with our family business, Deva Designs.
