About celtic knots and my shield knot design-
Celtic knotwork patterns have been used for centuries as symbols of connection, protection, and good luck. And, let’s be honest, because they look awesome.
The shield knot has a long history and has been used by many cultures, including Celtic and Viking, as a symbol of protection. It is known by many names including the Quaternary knot, four corners knot, or four-way knot. It is a bold design and stands out from a distance.
All CelticKnotWorks pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA. This pendant is my original design, designed from scratch by me. I make these pendants in partnership with my family business, Deva Designs.
